The Case for Impeaching Bush

Why should we Americans impeach President Bush? As I write this column, I am wondering if I’ve become a hopeless radical of some sort ... ranting and raving about the poor leadership by our president and congressional leaders that is threatening America today. Have my political beliefs and those of Ronald Reagan been completely marginalized by these people, and what has happened to the Republican Party?

For this article, let’s focus on President Bush and why he should be removed from office.

Dereliction of Duty: President Bush has looked the other way as a foreign country ( Mexico ) has invaded America. Illegals, predominantly Mexican illegals, have swarmed into America, overwhelming the health and educational infrastructures of our communities, tying up local police departments with rampant crime from repeat offenders, spreading third world diseases, and killing American citizens ... about 10,000 killings of Americans in the last 12 months alone. Isn’t that enough?

Giving Aid and Comfort to the Enemy: By encouraging illegals to invade his own country, President Bush has forced hospitals all across America to give free medical care to foreigners, practically breaking our own healthcare system by forcing American citizens to foot the healthcare expenses of foreigners. He encourages illegals to come across the border and plop out their babies here, so they will be American citizens. Isn’t that enough?

Conspiring with the Enemy: President Bush has conspired with Mexican Presidents Fox and Calderon to encourage the invasion of America by not enforcing America laws that prevent illegal immigration. He has conspired with Mexican leaders with the “up until recently secret documents” title the U.S.-Mexico Social Security Agreement, to pay social security benefits to illegal aliens, and even conspired to shorten the mandatory eligibility period from 10 years of work for American citizens to 18 months for illegals aliens. Bush even handed over Duane “Dog” Chapman, the famous American bounty hunter, who tracked down a dangerous escaped American rapist fugitive in Mexico and brought him to justice in the United States. After Mexico complained that Chapman had violated Mexican sovereignty, Bush handed “Dog” over to the Mexicans to throw him in a nasty little Mexican prison cell. Isn’t that enough?

Planning Coordinated Attacks with the Enemy: President Bush has secretly been planning a coordinated attack on America and our sovereignty by planning a hush-hush alliance with Mexico and Canada that would essentially eliminate our borders with the massive expansion of Interstate 35, to form a free flow route between our countries. This super highway in which illegal Mexican truckers can drive into the heart of America without having their cargo inspected, with trucks that don’t meet basic U.S. safety standards, and with Mexican drivers that can’t read English…..all of which are threats to America. And what is President Bush thinking of next? ... try a new currency, “the Amero”.

Bush and his one-government-for-the-continent-handlers are setting the stage to replace the dollar with the Amero, just like the Europeans replaced their currencies with the Euro. You can forget any inkling you had of the concept of U.S. sovereignty. Isn't this enough?

Violation of States Rights: President Bush has declared his own little war on States Rights, threatening to sue any state or municipality that attempts to clean-up the immigration mess that he created in their jurisdictions. Isn’t that enough?

And finally ...

Traitor as Commander-in-Chief: President Bush encouraged the detention, prosecution, and jail time for two American patriot Border Patrol agents, Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean, who shot a Mexican drug smuggler in the buttocks. They thought they had missed, as they watched him run back to his drug-filled van and drive back into Mexico. Their crime ... not reporting they had discharged their guns, would ordinarily be handled administratively as a mid-level infraction. President Bush gave this illegal alien immunity from prosecution to come back to America and testify against the two officers in a federal trial. By the way, not only was he caught again sneaking back into America with another load of drugs, but he is being encouraged by Bush to sue the officers and the Border Patrol for $5 million dollars. Wow! Isn’t this enough?

As radical as this seems, I have come to the conclusion that President Bush is a traitor to his country and that he should be impeached.
